Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2 : The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
Principle 1 - Adapt to your life. You must accept that life is unfair. Nobody is born perfect and lucky, you must learn to adapt to your life, then change it. How your live is going to be will be totally lies in your hand. You must manage and handle your own life.
Principle 2 - Pursue for success. This world will not care who you are, you must pursue for success only then you can get a foothold in your life. Success is the highest state of life, it can change your behavior and attitude, and even your self-esteem. If you think that success doesn’t belong to you, that is a lame thinking.
Principle 3 - No pain, no gain. Success will never come automatically, you need to pay for it if you desire for it. This is the basic principle in our life, you aren’t going to become a CEO of certain company if you don’t work for it. You will not going to make $10k a month if you’re not paying any effort in it. Therefore stop thinking that success will drop from heaven, without hard work , success will not be yours.
Principle 4 -Change your attitude. If you think that your teachers in school are strict, think about your boss after you’ve gone for work. So stop blaming other people and change your attitude on how you look at things.
Principle 5- Everything matters. No matter small or big business, they can make you money. Small business can grows into big businesses. Thus, by slowly taking small steps everyday, you can achieve big result one day.
Principle 6 - Learn from mistakes. This is what Mr Gates urges us to do. We need to learn from our mistakes. Everyone will make mistakes, nobody is perfect in this world. If you ever made a mistake, then learn from it, and never repeat it again. Only by doing so, you can improve yourself to a higher level of success.
Principle 7 - Do it yourself. In this world, you will have to do most of the things yourself. Stop relying on others. If you keep on relying on others, you will not learn the process. The more you rely on other, the more you will lose yourself to them, and hence you will keep on relying on them. This is your own success, not others!
Principle 8 -You’ve got only one chance. Many things in our life only happen once. Therefore you’ve have to take that chance and appreciate it. Sometimes if you’ve lost that chance, don’t worry, you can always create it.
Principle 9 - Value your time. We’ve got only 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We’ve don’t have much time in fact, life is short. You must learn to value your time. Put your time into process that can makes you grow, makes you success. Just remember this, don’t bring today’s tasks to tomorrow.
Principle 10 - Do what you suppose to do. What you see in television everyday is not the real world. In the real world, you need to get out and work things out.
Principle 11 - Be good with everyone around you. This is the golden rule of life, treat everyone good, and everyone will treat you good. So if you want to be rich, make other people rich first. This golden rule of life will not change, and you have to follow it in order to success.
i like the 11 principles in person...
i like he touch on the part, that we hv to adapt n change ur life..how the world don't care bout who u r..
frankly, forget about what ppl tells u what to do,how well they do in life n asking u to b their follower... u will hv to find your own ways to make ur life a meaningful once...
too much info.......lots of things to bring to bed today~ hmm.....

Escape to Capetown~
It's the end of Nov when i first step to South Africa.. a very memorable trip..
had one almost 13 hours flight.. studied some history bout the place from Discovery books, places of interest and restaurant to dine,etc..
thought Capetown would be rather boring but ended up, it's a big surprise~~if u're very keen in photographing, takes pics of nice views..that would be the best place to go..
basically, it's a place where racism is very apparent.. the whites live in housing areas near the beach.. with nice view, high security system, 0.000 crime rates~
the blacks or to b known as lay man terms, coca cola, live in much more rural areas..some in the trucks, some just house made from woods or steel... they basically hv to be back to their home b4 sunset, after 6..else they would b imprison~ sounds ridiculous but that's how it is... and we don't really comment much bout how other countries live their life...
wel, fyi, janet jackson, brad pitt, etc, do hv one house near the beach though~ they're really richest of the rich ha... life's unfair at times >.<
that would be one of the example of their house..
didn't get to tk the black once...spending much of the time feeling sad for them~
one of the MUST go, would be table mountain
do you see what i see??
the Indian ocean and the sky is separated by a fine line and in btw the clouds~isn't it beautiful???
on the road, there're plenty of baboons....as what was taught, they r dangerous bcuz they're as smart as human..
next, would b heading to watch the seagulls, whales n dolphins~
unfortunately, whales and dolphins didnt turned out that day..
anyway, it's like a life National Geographic..
wine tasting, cheese tasting, chocolate tasting are available as well.. safari if u're interested in, shark feeding, etc.........
everything's in Capetown..had a great time =)
noticing a lot of penguins r in pairs.. and, got to know, they only hv one partner for their whole life time~~ isnt that SWEET??
learnt a lot bout taste of wines...but ahem..still, i prefer fruit juice~~ =P
get to know the cheese i like the most.. Cheddar
happy enough~ every day is like a gift... my job itself is a big pressie =)))

Of the StarSSS~~~
went to the book shop today n found a book of regarding to the galaxy..then saw the word 'milky way'....like, i heard that before....!
well then if u see these two images, do you blif that they do exist??
trust me, they do...did some research n grab some pics from web..too bad cant prove by taking them myself..
but, there was someone trying to explain to me what milky way is about..n guess, i personally seen that already!
The Milky Way, or the galaxy, has many names in Punjabi, among them Akash Ganga (Ganga of the sky), and Gati-Dhuli (dust of the cow's hooves). According to a very popular myth, the Milky Way is a counterpart of the Ganga we know on earth.
Peoples in Eastern Asia believed that the hazy band of stars was the "Silvery River" of Heaven (Chinese: 銀河, Korean: eunha and Japanese: ginga). In one story, the stars Altair and Vega were said to be two lovers who were allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month, when a flock of magpies and crows formed a bridge over the galactic river. That day is celebrated as Qi Xi, the Seventh Night (Chinese: 七夕, Korean: chilseok and Japanese: tanabata).
In Egyptian mythology, the Milky Way was considered a pool of cow's milk. It was deified as a fertility cow-goddess by the name of Bat
In the Hindu collection of stories called Bhagavata Purana, all the visible stars and planets moving through space are likened to a dolphin that swims through the water, and the heavens is called śiśumãra cakra, the dolphin disc. The Milky Way forms the abdomen of the dolphin and is called Akasaganga which means "The Ganges River of the Sky"
While the Xhosas believe that the Milky Way are the bristles of an angry dog, the most popular African myth attributes their existence to a strong-willed African girl. This girl became so angry when her mother refused to give her any more delicious roasted root that she grabbed the roots that were roasting on a nearby fire and threw their ashes into the sky. The red and white ashes became the red and white stars that make up the Milky Way.
interesting yea~~
n,forget bout that,i actually seen shooting stars as well..!!
if you wanna pretend the airplanes in the night sky like shooting stars, dont be~ cause it always occur in few minutes time....sooOO,u could make a wish now~~ *wink*
unforgettable scene n i wish i could see them again =)))
lucky me...n of course, lucky 'him'~
